fearlessness is
           as much a problem as a solution
                     arrogance--dead at my feet
       wisdom leads me forward
             but remains just out of reach
  recognition of my limits
      is all that I hope
                in spite of 
                    my heart--
           poor, ridiculous organ
                that can't seem to stop
                     back-seat driving
                            my life
